Boise is a city where the desert meets the mountains, located along the Boise River and nestled against the foothills of the Rockies. Boise is the capital and largest city of the State of Idaho, and is the hub of commerce, banking and government for the state. Known as the City of Trees, Boise has stunning scenery, abundant natural resources and year-round outdoor activities. Population: Boise's population was 205,671 as of the 2010 Census.
