Champaign is centrally located 135 miles south of Chicago, 124 miles west of Indianapolis, and 178 miles northeast of St. Louis. While situated in a picturesque area of rural farm communities, Champaign is home to the University of Illinois which brings all the culture and amenities of a college town. Population: As of the 2010 U.S. Census, 81,055 people resided here.
