Green Bay Wisconsin
Green Bay is the third-largest city in the state of Wisconsin. It is an industrial city with several meatpacking and paper plants, and a port on the bay of Green Bay, an arm of Lake Michigan. Green Bay is home to the Cheeseheads, fans of the Green Bay Packers, a NFL team so successful that Green Bay has nicknamed itself "Titletown, USA." There is more to Green Bay than just exciting football and delicious dairy products, however. There are beautifully manicured rows of flowers at the Green Bay Botanical Garden, and hiking paths and a natural history museum at the Cofrin Center for Biodiversity as well as a historic collection of train cars at the National Railroad Museum. Population: The population of the Green Bay metropolitan area is 306,241 according to the 2010 census.
Climate: Green Bay has a humid continental climate influenced by the city's proximity to Lake Michigan. There are four distinct seasons, with warm, frequently hot summers and long, cold and snowy winters.
