Muncie is a dynamic city located 58 miles northeast of Indianapolis. The community serves as a regional business, education, medical, financial and retail hub. Indiana is known as the “Crossroads of America” and Muncie-Delaware County is positioned strategically at the center. Population: The city had a population as of the 2010 Census of 70,085, and the metropolitan area had 118,769.
