Norwalk is a coastal city bounded on the north by New Canaan and Wilton and on the South and East by Long Island Sound. Once nicknamed "Oyster Town," Norwalk holds an annual Oyster Festival each September to celebrate its oyster farming industry. Population: As of 2011, Norwalk's population was 82,534 people.
