Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) provides traditional local bus service as well as the Providence LINK which is a system of tourist trolleys in downtown Providence.
Travel and tourism: Retirees will not want to miss the Museum of Natural History in Roger Williams Park, which was opened in 1896. It houses more than a quarter million objects, about 85% natural history and 15% cultural materials. Providence also has a thriving arts community, vibrant and diverse neighborhoods, outstanding hotels, a renowned restaurant scene and many things to do.
