Colorado Retirement offers what many consider to be some of the finest mountain and skiiing experiences in the USA.  From mountain resorts like Aspen and Vail to the incomparable Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado is known throughout much of the world as one of America's best mountain playgrounds.    Although prospective retirees will want to consider the winter climate carefully, Colorado has a substantial retirement and tourism infrastructure to support many retirement lifestyle and leisure needs.

Growing fast as people flock to Colorados' relaxed lifestyle, Colorado cities have managed to maintain much of the relaxed yet sophisticated appeal that has made this state so popular. Boulder is the "cosmopolitan" college city, home to the University of Colorado.

Denver remains Colorado's most populous city and the capital of the state. Denver is a financial and banking center for the entire USA. Colorado Springs is in some ways a military town. About 30% of the people there are either active or retired from the US Armed Forces.
